THE BRIEF
To create an unforgettable brand experience for Coors Lager that celebrated Manchester’s rich cultural heritage while staying unmistakably true to the Coors brand. It needed to feel authentic, immersive and bold – a perfect blend of ice-cold refreshment and iconic Manchester attitude.
THE EVENT
Set within the industrial surroundings of Victoria Warehouse, the venue provided the perfect backdrop. Guests arrived at the first space: the Coors “Ice Room”. A fully branded Coors bar took centre stage, serving ice-cold Coors on tap, surrounded by air conditioning units, dry ice and a dramatic chilled atmosphere. A custom Coors ice DJ booth, an ice shuffleboard table and frosted details throughout ensured the brand was front and centre. Cold, crisp and unapologetically Coors.
From there, guests transitioned into a completely different world – the Hacienda Room. Paying homage to Manchester’s most legendary club, the space recreated the look, feel and energy of the original Hacienda with incredible attention to detail. Raw finishes, iconic visuals and a charged atmosphere set the scene for a night rooted firmly in Manchester music history.
Entertainment was sourced using official Hacienda contacts, ensuring total authenticity. Peter Hook delivered an unforgettable set, followed by Clint Boon, Bez and a closing set from DJ Paulette, bringing the spirit of the Hacienda roaring back to life.
The result?
An event that was Coors through and through, yet Manchester to its core. Ice-cold branding met cultural credibility – and it worked beautifully.
